How to Apply for Federal Fire Service Recruitment

The application process is online. Interested candidates should log on to the recruitment portal at https://cdcfib.career to complete their applications.

Steps for Application

  1. Fill out the application form on the portal.
  2. Download and print the referee forms provided during the application. These forms must be completed and submitted at the screening stage.
  3. Submit the application form online within the stipulated deadline.

Multiple applications will result in automatic disqualification. According to the Board, some candidates often submit their applications multiple times to gain an unfair advantage or as a result of making mistakes during the registration. This becomes a problem to the Board, including the inflation of the number of legitimate applicants. As a consequence, the Board will be disqualifying those who submit their online applications more than ONCE.

The application window closes six weeks from the date of publication. But pleas note that this recruitment is FREE of charge, and no applicant should pay money to secure a position. All submissions must be done online, and only qualified candidates will be shortlisted for further processes.

AFAN encourages interested people to take advantage of this opportunity, AND make sure their applications are error-free and submitted on time. Prospective applicants should frequently visit the recruitment portal to stay updated on additional instructions and potential changes to the recruitment process. AFAN is closely monitoring this exercise, and will be consistently publishing more updates as released by the Board to help candidates stay up to date.
