The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), previously known as the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), has has not yet officially opened its recruitment portal for the 2025 intake.

NUPRC Recruitment Eligibility Requirements

  • Only Nigerian citizens are eligible to apply, and candidates must provide a valid Nigerian identity document such as the National Identification Number (NIN).
  • Applicants must hold an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in relevant sciences, or a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (BSc/HND) in relevant fields.
  • Candidates should not be older than 27 years by the time of application.
  • Although not mandatory, applicants with computer literacy will have an added advantage in the recruitment process.

These eligibility criteria ensure that only suitable candidates with the right academic qualifications and other required documentation are selected for consideration.

How to Apply for NUPRC Recruitment

Candidates are encouraged to go to the official NUPRC website at www.nuprc.gov.ng to begin application. Browse through the list of available positions and click on the job title that matches your qualifications. Once you have chosen the right position, click on “Apply” to begin filling out the online application form. Post NUPRC Application

Candidates who pass the initial screening will be required to attend an interview or aptitude test where they will present the following documents: Original Birth Certificate (not a sworn affidavit), WASSCE or equivalent result, OND Certificate (or BSc/HND, depending on your qualifications) and Local Government Area (LGA) of Origin Certificate.

After the aptitude test or interview, successful candidates will be contacted with further instructions regarding the next steps.
