Now Open: Zamfara Teachers Recruitment Portal

Just in: Zamfara State has announced the recruitment of 2,000 new teachers to strengthen its public education system. The process will be done in phases, with 500 positions open in the first round.

Zamfara State is hiring teachers at two entry levels:

• Grade Level 07/01: For holders of a National Certificate in Education (NCE)
• Grade Level 08/02: For those with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education

Teaching positions are open in several subjects, including:

• English
• Mathematics
• Biology
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Computer Studies/ICT
• Entrepreneurship Studies

Zamfare State Teachers Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

• Hold either an NCE or a Bachelor’s Degree in Education
• Have at least five credits in core subjects, including English and Mathematics
• Be between 22 and 40 years old
• Present a medical report proving physical fitness
• Possess a TRCN certificate (optional, but preferred)

How to Apply for Zamfara State Teachers Recruitment

All applications must be completed online through the newly developed Zamfara State Recruitment Portal by the Zamfara Information Technology Development Agency (ZITDA).

Candidates who previously applied using Google Forms must reapply through the new portal to be considered.

Application steps:

2. Read the announcement on the homepage
3. Review positions based on your qualifications
4. Click “View Positions”
5. Note the deadline: April 16, 2025
6. Click “Apply” and follow the instructions
7. Create an account using your personal details, including NIN and BVN
8. Set a password and confirm
9. Generate an invoice and pay the N1,000 non-refundable application fee
10. Fill out the complete application form

Deadline and Screening

The application deadline is April 16, 2025, so early submission is advised.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a screening process that includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), oral and written interviews, and microteaching.

Also, only applicants who submit their forms through the official portal will be considered.
