The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has NOT yet announced the commencement of its recruitment for 2025, contrary to information making rounds online. The application portal (www.ndlea.gov.ng) is not yet open, so this guide will help you to be prepared ahead of the recruitment date. Make sure you read this post carefully to the end so you don’t miss important points that will make your application successful.

News reaching us is that NDLEA will invite applications from qualified Nigerians only. The online application portal will remain open for four weeks in 2025.

Interested applicants are required to visit the NDLEA online recruitment portal, which will be disclosed in this guide. Candidates can only use the official portal to complete their applications. Submissions outside the portal will not be considered.

Is NDLEA Application Form Out for 2025?

At this point, NDLEA application form is not yet out. However, you still have to read to the end because it will soon be out, and these guidelines will help you submit a successful application.

NDLEA Recruitment Requirements 2025

The NDLEA has its own statutory requirements, which include:

  • Nigerian origin by birth and possession of a National Identity Number (NIN).
  • Use of personal email addresses and phone numbers for applications.
  • Age limits: 20 to 35 years for the first category, 18 to 30 years for the second and third categories. Medical Doctors and Articulated Vehicle Drivers may apply up to 40 years.
  • Submission of all required qualifications at the time of recruitment. Unsubmitted documents cannot be tendered later.
  • Medical fitness certified by a government hospital.
  • Height requirements: Minimum of 1.65 metres for males and 1.60 metres for females.
  • Evidence of being drug-free and of good character, with no criminal convictions.
  • Possession of valid practising licences for medical professionals and proof of call to the Bar for lawyers.
  • Computer literacy as an added advantage.

How to Apply for NDLEA Recruitment 2025

Applicants should visit the NDLEA website at www.ndlea.gov.ng to complete their applications. Click on the Careers tab and carefully read the instructions. Select the appropriate category and click Apply Now.

Fill out the application form and upload the required documents: Passport photograph, academic certificates, Certificate of state of origin, Birth certificate or declaration of age, National Identity Card, and NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.

Make sure you print the online slip generated after completing the application. Unfortunately, multiple applications will lead to disqualification. Successful candidates will undergo further vetting and random drug tests during their service. However, ONLY shortlisted applicants will be invited for examinations and interviews.

The application process is free, and applicants are advised to avoid fraudulent offers or agents.

NDLEA Closing Date 2025

There is no closing date yet for 2025 as NDLEA recruitment is yet to commence.

However, all candidates must make sure to submit all applications early online once the portal is open. Candidates are reminded by the Director Media and Advocacy For Management to download and complete referee forms, which must be submitted during screening and interviews.

Make sure to submit your application before the deadline. Also, only use the official ortal to avoid disqualification. The Agency takes job racketeering seriously, so any candidate or person caught in the act will lead to disqualification of the candidates, and such people will be handed over to the authorities.
