The Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has announced the provisional appointment of successful applicants for the 2024/2025 teaching session.
Those who have received notification via text message are advised to attend the documentation exercise scheduled to begin on Monday, 6th January 2025, at the SUBEB Office in Ilorin.

Kwara SUBEB Screening Requirements
Successful candidates are reminded that their appointment is subject to a set of conditions which must be met:
- Applicants must provide a Medical Certificate of Fitness from a Government Medical Officer.
- Candidates must not have been dismissed from any government or government-related establishment in the past.
- On the day of assuming duty, candidates are required to submit two recent passport-sized photographs, original and photocopied credentials, and a birth certificate or Declaration of Age for verification.
- The appointment will take effect from the day you begin your duties. There will be a probationary period of two years, after which the appointment may be confirmed based on conduct and job performance.
- Either the candidate or the board can terminate the appointment at any time, with one or three months’ notice in writing, or by payment of one or three months’ salary instead of notice.
- Newly appointed teachers are required to serve in their assigned local government area for at least the first five years. No transfers will be allowed during this time. Candidates will be required to sign a bond during the documentation process.
- It is mandatory for candidates to register with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and provide proof of registration within six months of the appointment.
Acceptance Letter Submission Date
Candidates must submit a written acceptance letter within 30 days of receiving this offer. The letter must include an undertaking to abide by the rules and regulations governing the appointment and public service. Any false information will result in disqualification.
