The Abia State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has announced that the cut-off mark for the 2025 teachers’ recruitment Computer-Based Test (CBT) is 45%. Candidates who meet this requirement are invited to attend the oral interview from March 31 to April 4, 2025.
Applicants must log in to their dashboard to confirm their interview batch, date, time, and venue. All candidates must come with both original and photocopies of the required documents.
Documents to be presented include a birth certificate or age declaration affidavit, local government area (LGA) certificate, and three passport photographs with a white background. Candidates must also bring all academic qualifications, including FSLC, WAEC, NCE, degree certificates, postgraduate diplomas, master’s degrees, and Ph.D. where applicable. Additionally, they need a Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate, NYSC discharge or exemption certificate, BVN printout, NIMC card or certificate, and a printout of their CBT score.
The ministry has directed that original documents should be neatly arranged in an office flat file, while photocopies should be placed in a traditional paper file. Plastic files will not be accepted.

The interview will take place at the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, New Government Secretariat, Ogurube Layout, Umuahia, Abia State.
