The Commissioner also said that the government has made the Igbo language a must-learn subject in all schools from primary school to SS2. He explained that Igbo is the language of the people and should be preserved.
He said that making Igbo compulsory in schools will help in the cultural and social growth that the government is working on.
Prince Kanu also shared that History has been brought back as a subject in Abia schools. He stressed that learning History is important in both primary and secondary education.
